2) Spleen deficiency with abdominal diarrhea: Take 30 grams of pomegranate peel, decoct in water with red sugar and drink.
3) Diarrhea: Take 30 grams of pomegranate peel, decoct in water and drink.
4) Tapeworm infection, pinworm infection, hookworm disease, roundworm disease: Take 15 grams of pomegranate root bark, decoct, remove the residue, add white sugar, take on an empty stomach. Once a day for three consecutive days. Reduce the dosage for children.
5) Indigestion: Chew and swallow one sour pomegranate along with its seeds.
6) Excessive uterine bleeding: Take 10 grams of pomegranate peel, decoct in water, and add honey before consumption.
7) Tonsillitis: Take one to two fresh pomegranates, mash the flesh, soak in hot water for 30 minutes, then strain the juice using a gauze cloth. Gargle with the juice several times a day.

Note: Pomegranate should be avoided by those with excessive internal heat or in the early stages of dysentery.
